Soroptimist International of Liberty will host its annual Holiday Homes Tour from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, featuring three Liberty homes and one Kansas City home all decked out for Christmas.Tickets are $12 at the door or two for $20 with advance purchase. Tickets are available at Platte Valley Bank, Hair Lines Day Spa of Liberty, Coming Home, Quotations! A Fashion Statement and Cry Baby Farms.According to Linda Houston, the club’s ways and means chairwoman, proceeds from the event will help support Liberty Community Christmas Tree, Hillcrest Ministries, NEEC Preschool, Immacolata Manor, Rebuilding Together Clay County, In As Much Ministries, Love INC, Freedom House and Liberty Hospital Tree House. The club also sends two girls to Girls State; gives a scholarship to a woman who is head of household and going back to school, and gives a scholarship to a teenage girl who is active in her community.
